Day 148 – A glimpse of my childhood in a cemented detail
While walking on a very cold Monday morning, a simple piece of cement instantly took me back to my childhood. At my grandparents there was a big cement electricity pole next to our house. I say big, because I was quite small back then, probably 3-4 years old, so when I was trying to conquer it (as in climbing the first level at 60 cm above the ground :)) ) it seemed such an enormous thing. Now that I noticed this little detail from way above (well just a meter higher than then), I found myself laughing in the middle of the street and in the same time happy that I actually had a beautiful fun childhood. I miss my grandparents place…and the grandparents that aren’t here anymore. And I went from happiness to sadness in 1 millisecond.
