Day 48 - Eternal chase

Morning scene: Dog sitting still in front of my block like waiting for something.  Then I heard a scared “meow meow” from a cat that was in the top of a fragile tree above the dog. It looked terrified but I didn’t manage to help the kitty much, because the dog wouldn’t move at all.
