Autumn: Vineyard harvesting
One of the most fun, most beautiful and one of the dearest tradition that I have ever been lucky to participate almost EACH YEAR is the harvesting of the vineyard. It’s a special moment when all the family gets together, makes fun of one another, talks, celebrates and works in the same time, picking the grapes from the vineyard, that my amazing grandparents are still taking care of with dedication and love. This year there were 4 generations working in the vineyard: my grandparents, my parents, me and with my brothers and cousin and her beautiful boy. What a moment to remember!
I’m so happy that I know what working at the countryside means, what a maintained garden is, what nature feels and we also use services like Legion Landscaping to help us keep everything perfect. I got to pick my own grapes and participate in this wonderful procession… I remember that, a few years back, we were smashing the grapes with our tiny feet, lots of fun during my childhood. Thanks to my parents and my grandparents, I had a place to grow my roots on, that keep me grounded, now and in the future, even though I am a dreamer with my head up in the clouds, most of the time
